Shane Douberly is an illustrator, and filmmaker. He grew up drawing and painting, looking to graphic novels and animation as sources of inspiration. He is a graduate of the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and received his BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York.  Shane is co-owner and director of Dripsblack, a creative motion studio that specializes in film and commercials. He is also an adjunct instructor in the animation and design departments at the Art Institute of Jacksonville. Over his career, Shane has produced works for numerous brands and companies. In 2010, he founded and produced The Citrus Cel Animation Film Festival, a three-day celebration of animation in Northeast Florida that attracted filmmakers and animation aficionados from across the nation. Shane resides in North, Florida, with his wife Kristin, cairn terrier, Fig and shitzu, Nutmeg.
